Hailey Bieber recently went candid about her thoughts on paparazzi culture. The Rhode founder gave an exclusive interview to Mel Ottenberg for Interview magazine. The magazine published the interview on April 14. During her conversation with the interviewer, the beauty mogul went on to call out the “dark spirit” behind the paparazzi culture. The businesswoman revealed that she finds it to be “so icky.”
Hailey Bieber says paparazzi culture ‘hasn’t gotten any better or any worse’
Hailey Bieber recently said that, according to her, the paparazzi culture has not become “any better or any worse,” in a new interview with Interview magazine. During their conversation, the interviewer asked the beauty mogul whether there was “a new weird vibe out there with paparazzi?”
In response to that question, Hailey Bieber said, “Historically we’ve seen that paparazzi are awful.” The businesswoman continued, “I don’t think it’s gotten any better or any worse.” After that, the beauty mogul expressed, “The spirit behind it is very dark and I don’t think it’s something that anybody asks for in this world.”
In the interview, Hailey Bieber further explained, “So I find it really funny.” She continued, “When I’ll see people online being like, “She calls the paparazzi on herself every day.”” The popular media personality then added, “It’s so icky.” After that, interviewer Mel Ottenberg said, “For the record, people, she’s not calling the paps.” To this, the businesswoman simply said, “No.”
During the interview, Hailey Bieber also opened up about what her mornings look like. The businesswoman said, “I try to do that thing where I don’t just grab my phone the second I wake up.” She continued, “Even though I am guilty of doing it often.” Then she explained, “I try to look at the sunshine first because it’s better for your circadian rhythm, so I’m told.”
The business mogul further revealed, “I get up, brush my teeth, get myself together a little bit.” “Go see if my son’s awake yet,” added the A-list celebrity and mom to a baby boy, Jack Blues Bieber. She shares her son with her husband, Justin Bieber.
