Ice-T seemingly compared President Donald Trump to the Devil amidst his feud with the Pope. This comes after Trump posted a lengthy critique of Pope Leo XIV on Truth Social, calling him “weak on crime” and claiming that he was only in the Vatican because Trump was the President of the US.

Ice-T made a cryptic X post, where he seemingly referred to President Donald Trump and his feud with Pope Leo XIV. After the Pope announced that he would not come to the USA during Donald Trump’s tenure, the President launched a barrage of attacks on the Pope on his Truth Social account, calling him out for being “weak on crime” and “very liberal.”
Ice-T responded to this unprecedented feud by saying that only the Devil could start a feud with the Pope. The rapper said on X, “Thought the Devil would be the Only one to start a Beef with the Pope……. Oh yeah.. Smh.”
While Ice-T has not named anyone in the post directly, it clearly seems to be a response to President Donald Trump’s lengthy post on Truth Social criticizing the Pope.
“Pope Leo is WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy. He talks about ‘fear’ of the Trump Administration, but doesn’t mention the FEAR that the Catholic Church, and all other Christian Organizations, had during COVID when they were arresting priests, ministers, and everybody else, for holding Church Services, even when going outside, and being ten and even twenty feet apart,” Trump wrote.
He further added, “I don’t want a Pope who criticizes the President of the United States because I’m doing exactly what I was elected, IN A LANDSLIDE, to do… If I wasn’t in the White House, Leo wouldn’t be in the Vatican. Leo should get his act together as Pope, use Common Sense, stop catering to the Radical Left, and focus on being a Great Pope, not a Politician.”
The Pope has since responded to Donald Trump’s behavior by claiming that he has “no fear of the Trump administration” and will “continue to speak out loudly against war.”
