Meghan Markle Copied Kate Middleton’s Classic Move on Australia Trip

Meghan Markle copied Kate Middleton’s classic move during her trip to Australia. She visited Australia with Prince Harry on April 14 for a non-official visit. The couple’s trip focuses on their philanthropic work. During the visit, the Duchess of Sussex was reportedly seen doing something that the Princess of Wales often does.

Apparently, Markle bent down to the children’s eye level while meeting them, which is the same approach that Middleton uses when interacting with kids.

Meghan Markle’s recent trip to Australia featured a subtle moment that caught everyone’s attention. As reported by Express, the Duchess and Prince Harry were seen visiting Melbourne Children’s Hospital and interacting with kids and their parents.

A post shared by @HouseOfVanity88 suggested that Markle wore a navy dress by Karen Gee and paired it with Dior pumps. She styled her hair in a sleek ponytail and looked stunning in the elegant dress with buttons at the front. Meanwhile, Harry looked equally dapper in a suit.

The couple looked great and were there for philanthropic work. However, one moment showing Markle mimicking Middleton’s gesture stole the spotlight.

She was seen kneeling to talk to children. This is a classic move often associated with the Princess of Wales when interacting with kids. This gesture has sparked a conversation online, and people have mixed reactions about the incident.

The Duchess also shared a sweet moment with Lily, a four-year-old girl who was born just a day before Princess Lilibet. Her children, Lilibet and Prince Archie, did not accompany them on the trip and stayed back in California.

This is the royal couple’s first visit to Australia since 2018, when they visited the country as part of their official royal tour. During the current visit, they also met with veteran families at the Australian National Veterans’ Art Museum. While their trip started in Melbourne, the couple is also set to visit Canberra and Sydney.
