It is reportedly very likely that King Charles called out his daughter-in-law Meghan Markle‘s bluff when she, alongside her husband, Prince Harry, and their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, reunited with the monarch and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House. Grant Harold, the former royal butler and expert, recently made a guest appearance on TalkTV, where he claimed that the King most likely played smart around the Duchess of Sussex.
King Charles likely played smart around Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s demand for a photo at reunion, per expert
King Charles reportedly and most likely played smart around the demand for a photograph by Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, during their recent reunion at Highgrove House. During the TalkTV interview, the host told the former royal butler, Grant Harold, “On a personal note grant I’m happy that the King was able to spend time with his grandchildren.”
The host continued, “But do you think the Sussexes will be disappointed that they did not get a photograph of this meeting?” The person added, “Given that it would enhance their brand.”
Grant Harold responded, “Absolutely.” By this, he agreed to the host’s comments about the situation involving King Charles, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The royal expert continued, “Of course. I mean, you’re right.” He then explained, “I mean, of course, I’d love a photo of this because it would give them that royal engrossment.”
The expert further explained, “Absolutely doesn’t mean to say that there wasn’t a photograph taken privately behind the scenes.” He continued, “I only say this from the king’s point of view, hopefully that never sees the light of day.”
After that, Grant Harold then expressed, “It’s possible there was one.” He was referring to a possible reunion photo involving King Charles, Prince Harry and his family. The expert continued, “But certainly it would have been under the king’s instruction.” The former royal butler explained, “It wouldn’t have been something I very much doubt Harry and Megan would have asked.” The expert continued, “Or maybe they did, but I’m sure it’d be a very awkward thing if they did.”
In the meantime, in response to Grand Harold’s comments, the host said, “Well, I think you’re right.” The host continued, “I think that it was the king flexing his muscles.” “And arguably Grant calling the bluff of the Sussexes,” also added the host.
