Yet another AI photo has the President in some hot water. Donald Trump drew widespread criticism over the weekend for displaying a photo of himself as Jesus healing a sick person. The POTUS said he thought it was just him as a doctor.
It didn’t end there, though, with the President posting a photo arm in arm with Jesus. The picture was originally posted by a page on X, formerly Twitter, called Irish for Trump before the President posted a screenshot of it on his social media account.
“I think it is quite nice!!!” POTUS wrote about the picture.
President Trump said “Radical Left Lunatics might not like” the picture
It seems the President can’t resist the praise, or perhaps he’s unbothered by online backlash. On his Truth Social, POTUS reposted the picture, while warning, “The Radical Left Lunatics might not like this.” The original post reads in part that it seems, “with all these satanic demonic child-sacrificing monsters being exposed … that God might be playing his Trump card.”
The unmistakable depiction of him with Jesus at a podium comes days after he took down his previous AI photo. He says that he did this because it was causing confusion. President Trump says he thought it was him as a healer and nothing more.
Like the old photo from the weekend, this one with him next to Jesus is also being viewed as blasphemous by many. It comes amid the President seemingly locked in a feud with Pope Leo. The two have traded verbal blows many times this year.
The Pope has previously called for a ceasefire in Iran, while the President has called him out as being weak on crime in his eyes. The President’s Iran crisis has become a contentious subject, with the Pope calling for an alternative solution to put an end to that conflict.
