Megyn Kelly Reacts to Lizzo Twerking With a Life-Sized Labubu

Lizzo recently performed on Weekend 1 at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. She joined Sexyy Red during the latter’s set on stage in California. The flutist left her fans surprised when she twerked with a life-sized Labubu on stage. After looking at her performance, journalist Megyn Kelly shared her thoughts on her talk show and podcast, “The Megyn Kelly Show.”

Megyn Kelly says Lizzo twerking with life-sized Labubu ‘passes off as entertainment in America’

Lizzo was at Coachella for a performance alongside Sexyy Red and made sure to turn up the heat with her acts. On Friday night, Red performed on the Sahara Stage and brought Lizzo out as a surprise guest. The accomplished flutist then performed on “Yitty On Yo Tittys (Freestyle)” from her 2025 mixtape “My Face Hurts From Smiling.”

However, many were left surprised when the four-time Grammy winner twerked on a life-sized version of the viral collectible plush toy, Labubu. The singer even shared her Coachella appearance on Instagram with several posts. These included a video of her Labubu dance, with the caption: “THIS FOR PPL THAT LIKE FUN,” attracting a lot of attention.

However, it seems journalist Megyn Kelly was not much impressed by Lizzo’s performance. She reacted to the singer’s “outrageous twerking at Coachella” on her talk show and podcast, “The Megyn Kelly Show.”

The attorney was shocked at scantily clad Lizzo “jiggling” her body onstage while performing with her flute. Kelly seemed to be amazed that “this passes for entertainment in 2026 America.” She asked guests if they remembered when they used to sing at Coachella, and how “low cleavage was considered risqué.” But looking at how things were at the concert, Kelly says, “we are now at full exhibitionism.”

Weekend 1 of this year’s Coachella also saw sets from headliners Labrinth, BIA, Davido, Justin Bieber, Addison Rae, and more. It ended on Sunday with additional acts and Karol G closing the event.
