Meghan Trainor’s $6.8 Million Mansion Sold Amid Abrupt Tour Cancellation

Meghan Trainor has quickly recovered from what might have been significant future financial losses. The singer who rose to fame with the album All About That Base sold her Los Angeles mansion in a deal worth over $6.8 million.

This news might not be much consolation to her adoring fans. She was slated to hit the road beginning in June for the Get in Girl Tour. Right now, she’s got a lot on her plate.

The singer sold her LA home on the same day her tour was scrapped

It’s the start of something new and exciting for Meghan Trainor. Her home, which she purchased in 2020 for $6.55 million, sold about a week after hitting the market. TMZ reports that this came on the same day that she shared some disappointing news with fans. Her fifth tour will not happen, with the singer claiming there’s just too much going on in her life at the moment. She said that balancing that tour with her new album and her newborn child is too much for her to juggle all at once.

For what it’s worth, Meghan said that the decision to cancel the tour was not easy. On Instagram, she apologized to fans for doing so but believes it’s what’s right for her at this time. She went on to say how grateful she was to her fans for their support.

Meghan’s home in Encino had seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, spanning about 1.09 acres of space. It has a recording studio on the lower level with a private entrance. There’s also a resort-style pool, spa and tennis court among other things.

In January, Meghan and husband Daryl Sabara welcomed their third child into the world, named Mikey Moon Trainor. The child was born through a surrogate. Meghan’s album Toy with Me comes out on April 24.
