Patrick Muldoon sadly passed away at the weekend. The Days of Our Lives star died suddenly on Sunday, April 19 at his home in Beverly Hills. His sister has revealed the events surrounding his death, including how his girlfriend tragically found him unconscious.

Patrick reportedly died of a heart attack. The 57-year-old was at home with his girlfriend at the time. His sister, Shana Muldoon-Zappa, has shared more details about his passing.
Speaking to TMZ, she explained that Patrick went to take a shower in the morning. He had just had coffee with his girlfriend, who went to see why he was taking so long. She then found him unconscious on the bathroom floor.
Shana said that, while paramedics attended the home, there was sadly nothing they could do.
Patrick had made his last Instagram post just two days before he passed. He shared a screenshot of an article about upcoming movie “Kockroach,” for which he was serving as executive producer.
Fans paid tribute to the actor on the post, with one writing: “You didn’t die, you have just ascended onto greatness my good man.”
Another added: “RIP you were a huge part of my childhood and my favorite shows.”
A third said: “RIP Patrick, breaks my heart to see the news ? The world has lost a remarkable man!”
As well as his role in Days of Our Lives, Patrick was known for his appearances in Saved by the Bell, Melrose Place, Starship Troopers and Broken Angel. He had two movie roles in the works, according to his IMDB page.
Patrick previously dated Denise Richards. The pair’s relationship was reportedly on and off for many years. They split for good in the mid-90s, but remained good friends.
