Summer House star Kyle Cooke is putting himself out there again, although according to sources, he’s not ready for anything serious. That’s a stark contrast to his estranged wife, Amanda Batula, who is already in a new relationship.
Apparently, Kyle is keeping things casual, like his kiss with former Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King. It was allegedly no big deal.
The Summer House star is “just easing his way back into” the dating scene
Kyle and Amanda announced their split just this year, and Amanda is already in a new relationship (with Kyle’s friend and co-star to boot). While he is understandably disappointed, Kyle isn’t rushing to find a new relationship.
According to US Weekly, Kyle is just starting to “put himself out there” and just wants to have a good time.
“Kyle has been flirting with different women on his nights out,” a source said. “Nothing over the top, just easing his way back into the scene.”
That’s apparently what he was doing when he was filmed kissing Meghan in New York City. They met at Page Six’s ‘90s-themed event at Temple Bar on April 16. They went to Bar Bianchi, where they stayed until around 1 in the morning.
Fans clocked the PDA, of course, but the source said that the kiss was “random” and “nothing.” Apparently, the Bravo star is just “doing his thing.” Plus, most fans noted that at least he wasn’t kissing the ex-partner of his friend.
It’s different from their reactions to Amanda and West Wilson’s NYC PDA-filled dates. The new couple was seen out at dinner and at a baseball game, laughing, touching, and kissing, and the backlash was bad.
Kyle posted that he was “Was not prepared to see that” on Threads, while co-star KJ Dillard called the pair “sickos” in response to the same moment.
