Prosecutors Accuse D4vd of Having ‘Significant’ Child Pornography on His Phone

There are more unsettling claims being made against D4vd. At a hearing for his first-degree murder trial, the prosecution uncovered what the rapper allegedly had on his iPhone. On Thursday in court, prosecutors allege that they discovered a “significant amount” of child porn on the rapper’s device.

The Romantic Homicide singer is accused of murdering 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, having been arrested earlier this month. Thursday’s proceedings mark one year to the day that prosecutors believe Celeste was killed. Her remains were discovered in a Tesla registered to D4vd.

True or not, this latest claims by the prosecution are sure to get people talking. The shocking allegation of child porn comes shortly after reports of the countless pieces of evidence supposedly against him. The prosecution said on Wednesday that they had close to “40 terabytes of discovery.” Allegedly there were sexual abuse images on D4vd’s phone.

During Thursday’s hearing covered by the U.S. Sun reveal that the rapper born David Anthony Burke appeared relatively calm throughout. The judge asked him at one point if he understood how the proceeding was going to work, and he said: “Yes, ma’am.” He pleaded not guilty to the murder charge along with allegations of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 and mutilating a body. Reports indicate he was wearing an orange jumpsuit for Thursday’s proceedings and appeared rather bored.

While the notion of child porn is disconcerting, it remains unclear if any of this alleged content on his phone featured Celeste. The late girl’s mother had previously said that she knew her daughter was seeing a man named David.

Prosecutors said they’ll be ready for the upcoming preliminary hearing and hope this goes to trial within 60 days. The next court date in this matter is May 1.
