Welcome back to your Ladies of London: The New Reign recap!

In last week’s episode, the ladies headed to Longleat to parade about Emma’s estate … and, of course, argue with each other. As predicted, the drama between Margo and Mark-Francis took center stage during the cast trip, and the episode dramatically concluded with not one but two of the stars walking off. So, what happened next? Here’s everything that went down in Ladies of London Season 4 Episode 9, “Whey Out Of Line.”

What happened in Ladies of London Season 4 Episode 9?

After ending things on a very dramatic “to be continued” last week, Episode 9 opened right where viewers left off: the beef between Margo and Mark-Francis. And, that drama pretty much continued throughout the entire episode, including at a cheese-making workshop. Seriously, who has time to argue when there’s cheese to be eaten!?

Two-faced troubles

After both Mark-Francis and Kimi stormed out of the garden party, the argument raged on about whether he is two-faced, or if Margo simply doesn’t get his British humor.

“I’m not going to have a confrontation in my friend’s house,” the former Made in Chelsea star told his nemesis, who by this point had also left the group setting. Adamant that she was not being confrontational, Margo pleaded with Mark-Francis to have a chat and try to put their differences aside.

“I have nothing to say to you,” he replied. “But, you actually have so much to say,” Margo quipped back.

“I’m not scared to talk to you, I just don’t care,” he told her. To that, Margo accused Mark-Francis of being “obsessed” with her and talking about her “all the time.”

As predicted, the chat spiralled into bickering between the duo. With absolutely zero resolution on the horizon, Mark-Francis stormed off … again.

As Mark-Francis tried to run away from his drama with Margo, the Love Maze at Longleat had other ideas. The ex-Made in Chelsea star hilariously found himself getting caught up in the hedges while trying to find his way back to his accommodation.

“I have spent 15 years going around this bloody maze,” he said in a confessional of the funny moment. “And, the one time I need to make a swift exit, it actually works.”

“Bloody hell!” he exclaimed as he finally made his way out of the maze … and away from the ladies.

Things got personal

After admitting last week that she feels “alone” in the ordeal with Mark-Francis, Margo ended up alienating herself further over her decision to brand him “a freak.”

In a chat with Lottie and Missè, Margo (who almost appeared on another Bravo show) tried to explain her reasoning for the diss – but didn’t win over her cast mates. “You can’t fight nastiness with nastiness,” Lottie told her.

“He’s the only gay man in the group, so it just feels like calling him a freak is very personal and singling him out,” Lottie later said in a confessional. “I’m sure he’s spent his whole life being called names … I just don’t think it’s fair, I don’t think it’s kind, and I’m not on board with that.”

Meanwhile, the rest of the cast were having very much the same conversation, albeit in a different car. Martha insisted that Margo “didn’t mean” her comments like that, to which Mark-Francis had a strong reaction.

“I’ve spent 20 years being treated like a freak,” he said. “I can’t even introduce my partner, the person I want to marry, to my parents. I can’t even have a normal life, because guess what, I’m not normal.”

Clearly, the conversation hit a chord. In a confessional, Emma admitted she had never seen her friend of 15 years “so emotional.”

Margo let it all out

Following a tense conversation with Lottie and Missè, Margo broke down in tears. “This is really intense for me,” she explained as she sobbed in the back of the car.

Within 10 minutes, producers were on the scene. “Do you need me to get someone? Do you want any medical attention?” a member of the production crew asked as Margo continued to cry. “I don’t know what’s happening, I think I’m having a panic attack,” she replied.

“I felt like I couldn’t breathe, and I just kept sobbing,” Margo explained to Lottie and Missè once she had calmed down. On the guidance of a producer, she then headed back to Longleat to “have a rest and chill.”

The group debriefed

Unsurprisingly, Margo’s meltdown had an impact on the whole group. “I think she was just expecting us to agree with everything she was saying,” Lottie told Missè as they debriefed after Margo had left. The pair then FaceTimed Myka, who was spending the day with the rest of the cast, to update them on the drama.

Next, Myka relayed what had happened to Emma, Martha, Kimi, and Mark-Francis. “She’s had some sort of severe panic attack,” she explained. To that, Martha tried to call her friend several times … but Margo didn’t pick up. “Why isn’t she answering my calls?” a concerned Martha asked, while Mark-Francis jokingly accused Margo of hijacking their cheese tasting session with her drama.

Later, Martha admitted to Missè that she “doesn’t know” this version of Margo. “She’s defensive, and I don’t agree with her behavior,” she said. “It’s just so unnecessary.”

“Of course, I still love her, but what is she doing?” Margo asked in a confessional.

“I’m coming to the cottage”

Unlike Ilya Rozanov in Heated Rivalry, Margo opted to make a quick exit from her stay at the Longleat cottage. And, it was down to her roommates, Myka and Lottie, to share this information with the other ladies at dinner.

“I’m so worried about her, but I think it’s incredibly rude to leave without saying goodbye to Emma,” Martha said of Margo’s Irish exit. “She just evaporated, she just left,” host of the trip, Emma, added.

Not everyone was sad about Margo’s departure, however. Missè said it was a “relief” that Margo had left because it guaranteed a drama-free evening. And, she was right. The evening that followed was one of laughter, love, and lots of alcohol.

A friendship in crisis

Episode 9 ended with a shock revelation from Martha that her former bestie, Margo, had blocked her. “My messages aren’t going through; she’s blocked me,” Martha explained, to which Kimi said: “I would not worry about that woman, I think she’s full of sh*t.”

Meanwhile, at her house, Margo confessed to Myka that she is annoyed at Martha. After explaining that she feels Martha defends her in public but criticizes her to her face, Margo then doubled down on her beef with Mark-Francis. “Hurt people hurt people,” she said.

The episode concluded with Margo reaching out to Mark-Francis to have a one-to-one and finally make peace … before cutting to a clip of him branding her a “lunatic.”

The Ladies of London: The New Reign continues on Thursdays at 9 PM ET/PT on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
