The well-being of Kirsten Storms has many people concerned. The General Hospital actress is exhibiting some bizarre behavior according to her ex-husband, Brandon Barash. He has filed a restraining order against her, and the judge signed off on it.
The former couple, who married in secret in 2013, broke up just over two years later. They agreed to raise their daughter Harper together following the amicable split. Kirsten who portrays Maxie Jones on the hit soap opera, however, appears to be experiencing something very profound.

Kirsten’s actions have Brandon very worried for their daughter. TMZ reports that he filed an emergency restraining order against his ex as a result. After assessing the situation, a judge granted the request, believing that Kirsten is going through a mental health crisis.
Kirsten and Brandon are among the many former celebrity couples whose issues escalated after they broke up. Earlier this month, Taylor Frankie Paul had reportedly filed a restraining order against her ex, Dakota Mortensen. A disturbing leaked tape showed Taylor throwing chairs at Dakota in 2023.
Brandon said the two moved separately to Tennessee following their split. According to him, Kirsten’s landlord sued her for eviction, and “instability with housing has been a recurring theme” for her. He adds that, between September 2024 and June 2025, Kirsten couldn’t maintain a permanent home. She either stayed with friends or at hotels, he claims.
In addition, he alleges that her car will soon be repossessed, with an apparent $5,000 loan still outstanding. He adds that she reached out to him in 2025 after “experiencing delusions and hallucinations.” Brandon says that his current wife helped get Kirsten to a hospital, where she was placed on psychiatric hold. She reportedly acted as though nothing had happened. One of her friends also allegedly told him that she abuses Adderall.
Brandon wants Kirsten to undergo a mental health evaluation. The judge will review the restraining order at a later time.
