Kevin Hart roasted by Chelsea Handler during interview
Long-time friends and fellow comedians, Kevin Hart and Chelsea Handler, sat down together for an interview with ET, which was tied to Hart’s Netflix competition series, Funny AF With Kevin Hart. However, the session soon turned informal as the two comedians took jabs at each other, amusing viewers.
At the very beginning of the exchange, Handler hit out at Hart’s posture. “Would you mind closing your legs? ‘Cuz it stinks in here. Or sit criss-cross applesauce, maybe?” Handler said. Hart responded, “I don’t want to do that.” He further said, referring to his grey sweatpants, “I wore these for you.. These are my male lingerie.”
Handler hit back by mocking Hart’s appearance. “You have something in your beard I don’t know if it’s a tick, or dandruff,” she said.
Soon, an instance from the COVID-19 pandemic came up. Handler described how Hart FaceTimed her, especially when his wife, Eniko, was on other calls. “It was, like, clearly you two were dealing with your own boredom and needed a third party to get involved and I’m like, ‘I’m not the one, okay?’” Handler added, “The first couple times I answered, and then I was like, ‘These two are up to something.’ I don’t know if you guys wanted a threesome or you just needed counseling. I was like, ‘I am not interested.’”
Aside from the playful jabs, the pair also discussed Hart’s upcoming live Netflix special, Netflix Is A Joke Presents: The Roast Of Kevin Hart. “I am more than looking forward to it,” Hart said, “I’m excited to turn this into a complete massacre for anybody that decided to touch that stage and say anything negative on my behalf.”
Netflix Is A Joke Presents: The Roast Of Kevin Hart is set to premiere on May 10, 2026.
