King Charles Has a One-Word Description for Donald Trump — Expert

President Donald Trump welcomed King Charles III for a high-stakes state visit to the US. It was a visit that was about making history. But royal watchers were interested in more than just the ceremony as Trump welcomed the monarch and Queen Camilla on the South Lawn. It has a military band playing, and Cabinet officials lined up to greet them. Royal broadcaster Neil Sean claimed that the king has a personal view of Trump. It comes down to one word: “fascinating.”

Royal expert reveals King Charles finds Donald Trump ‘fascinating’

Fox News reported that King Charles’ US visit is “vital,” with Neil Sean telling the outlet that the king thinks Donald Trump is “fascinating.” Charles’ four-day visit coincides with celebrations of America’s 250th anniversary. It involves an address to Congress and a White House state banquet. Sean described the trip as a defining moment for the monarch.

Sean said, “This is a vital visit for the king.” He continued, “By default, he will have a short reign [compared to the late queen.]” Adding, “And this significant visit will be part of his history.” The royal broadcaster also claimed that Charles “was delighted to receive the invitation.” He “knows he has a lot of popularity in the United States and is delighted to be a guest. He knows he has to make this visit memorable and historic without controversy.”

Additionally, Sean claimed that Charles “plans to focus on humor,” noting that the king is well read on history. At the same time, he will steer clear of politics, with Sean explaining, “He does the soft power; the foreign secretary does the politics.”

Sean insisted that the king’s role is about stability, not policy, noting, “The king also has a soft spot for President Trump because of his kindness in the later years to his mother, the queen.” As King Charles prepares to address Congress during his US tour becoming only the second British monarch to do so, Sean called the visit “very much history in the making.”
