King Charles was reportedly not feeling comfortable with recent research, conducted on behalf of the Daily Mail, which claimed that he could be President Donald Trump’s very distant cousin. As reported by RadarOnline, a source told, “There was a degree of discomfort at the discovery,” while referring to the monarch’s reaction to the study. The person continued, “Not because of the historical connection itself, which is not unusual among European and transatlantic lineages.” The source then added, “But because Charles basically detests everything Trump stands for.”

In the meantime, the insider further went on to tell the news outlet that King Charles “is, frankly, sickened to know they have any relation.” The person continued, “He hates Trump’s foreign policy, environmental policy, his manners, and his personality.” The insider also explained, “But even he can see the humor in him being related to someone he hates.”

Meanwhile, another source also spoke about King Charles and Queen Camilla attending the garden party at the British Embassy in Washington on the first day of their U.S. state visit. The person said, “An invitation to take tea with the King – complete with scones and clotted cream – has been one of the most prized tickets in Washington.” The person continued, “It reflects not just the prestige attached to the monarch’s presence.” “But the enduring allure of British ceremonial tradition on the global stage,” the source further added.
