Meghan Markle Accused of ‘Ghosting’ UK TV Star

Meghan Markle was recently accused of “ghosting” U.K. TV star Lizzie Cundy. During a podcast interview, the 57-year-old hinted at her close bond with the Duchess of Sussex before the latter became a royal.

Furthermore, she claimed that she understood her former friend’s decision and would reunite if Markle ever wished to. Moreover, the English socialite confessed that she has reportedly “known” royal family members, adding that her mom has been “friends” with Queen Camilla.

TV star Lizzie Cundy claims Meghan Markle ghosted her in new interview

TV star Lizzie Cundy’s latest interview put Meghan Markle in the spotlight. In a candid conversation during an episode of the “Best” podcast, the interviewer mentioned the time when the duchess “dropped” Cundy. Reportedly, the two ladies were good friends before Markle married Prince Harry and became a royal.

Referring to this, the interviewer asked how shocked Cundy was. Furthermore, the host explained her question, claiming that the TV personality might be surprised because she had known the royal family members. Moreover, Cundy’s mom, Gloria, has been friends with Queen Camilla. Despite this connection, Markle allegedly “ghosted” Cundy.

After the revelation, the socialite took a dig at the “Suits” alum by mentioning Piers Morgan. For those unversed, Markle was accused of reportedly “ghosting” the journalist as well. Since then, the duo’s alleged feud appeared to be one of the most talked-about rivalries in the media industry.

Hence, during the interview, Cundy stated that she was seemingly like the broadcaster in Markle’s life. She added, “But yes, she dropped me from a, you know, a long height, shall we say?”

However, Cundy agreed with the interviewer that she’s also forgiving and understanding of the duchess’ situation. “I understand it. I understand why she had to ghost certain people. She became a royal,” Cundy said.

Furthermore, she also praised the old Markle, who used to be her friend. “She was very ambitious, and I actually got on with her really well. She was a real girl’s girl. We had a real laugh, actually,” Cundy shared.
