A source claimed that the monarch would reportedly want to reconcile with his youngest son so that he could meet his grandchildren. However, the heir has allegedly been against this idea and might not agree to any reunion with his brother.

King Charles would reportedly want to welcome back Prince Harry, but Prince William wouldn’t. RadarOnline reported that Meghan Markle and her husband would visit the UK in the summer with their children. According to sources, the 77-year-old would like to spend time with his grandkids, Archie and Lilibet. But his eldest son has allegedly been making the reunion difficult for him.
“Charles is at the point where he wants to forgive Harry and find a path forward, but William simply won’t hear of it, no matter what his father says,” an insider claimed. Hence, the situation has seemingly turned into a “huge battle” for the king, as the heir has “enormous influence behind the scenes.”
For those unversed, Harry and Markle had cut ties with the royal family when they left the UK in 2020. Since last year, reports of the 41-year-old trying to reconcile with his father have been circulating online.
He, in fact, visited the king last year, which escalated reunion rumors. Currently, sources claimed that Charles has no issue in welcoming his youngest son and his family back to the palace.
However, Prince William has reportedly been against the reunion. He has allegedly not forgiven Harry for throwing shade at him and Kate Middleton in the book “Spare.” The Sussexes have also made shocking revelations in their Oprah Winfrey interview about the royal family in the past.
