Brooke Hogan admits to having bonded with Scott McGillivray. The two are currently paired on HGTV’s Rock the Block. Viewers have noticed how well they have been working together, with many seeing them as the frontrunners to win season seven.
On the latest episode of the show, the daughter of the late wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan said her bond with Scott is in part a “daddy complex.” Brooke says that she feels safe and protected by the handyman. She also trusts his advice, given his experience in construction.
Brooke says she and Scott got “very close very fast”
Connections can develop much quicker than we think sometimes. That’s been the case with Brooke and Scott. On Monday’s episode of Rock the Block, the singer said in a confessional that “Scott and I have become very close, very fast.” While working together on the latest episode, the two were also getting to know each other on a personal level. The teammates asked each other about their birthdays and star signs, among other things.
For her part, Brooke admitted that people watching them together on TV “will think that there’s something going on.” That’s something she addressed online last week. She fired back at fans who speculated that Brooke might be having an affair with Scott. Brooke called the rumors “mean and hateful.” Both Brooke and Scott are married with kids.
This season of Rock the Block has HGTV designers like Scott teaming up with celebrities, which is where Brooke fits into the mix. Scott and Brooke have been the stars of the season so far, winning two episodes. Scott is a veteran of home renovation shows like Income Property and Vacation House Rules.
This season, teams are competing to renovate identical homes in Las Vegas on a $275,000 budget. New episodes of the program drop every Monday.
