Dwayne Johnson Wins Met Gala 2026 Watch Game With $3.3M Timepiece

Dwayne Johnson arrived at the Met Gala 2026 in a look that immediately silenced the crowd. Tailored to perfection, his presence was commanding as always. However, what caught the light with every wave, handshake, and pose for the cameras was an accessory. A statement timepiece valued at $3.3 million elevated Johnson’s ensemble from classic Hollywood to something closer to wearable history.

Dwayne Johnson turned heads at the Met Gala 2026, his ensemble crowned by an extraordinary $3.3 million timepiece that blurred the line between high fashion and historic craftsmanship.

On Monday, May 4, The Rock arrived at the Met Gala red carpet wearing a striking Polynesian skirt crafted by Thom Browne. With “Fashion is Art” as this year’s theme, he went beyond expectations with accessories that left fans and spectators stunned.

On the red carpet, Johnson debuted his Jacob & Co. Billionaire III. As reported by GQ, the rectangular skeleton watch is crafted from 18-carat white gold and absolutely encrusted with diamonds. The case holds 77, the inner ring 76, the movement bridges 57, and the bracelet an astounding 504. In total, the piece features 714 diamonds weighing 129.6 carats.

Jacob & Co. first released the original Billionaire in 2016 with 656 diamonds. However, the new model surpasses it entirely. A true fusion of haute horology and fine jewellery, the watch is unsurprisingly exclusive. With only 18 pieces made, its price is available on request only.

Speaking with Esquire UK last year, Hollywood stylist Ilaria Urbinati, who has styled The Rock for years, said that watches remain the cornerstone of his red carpet style.

Furthermore, when asked about wearing a skirt, Dwayne Johnson responded with confidence, saying, “I feel great.” “First, [Thom Browne’s team] sent the illustrations over and [asked], ‘Hey, is Deej going to be cool with this pleated skirt?’ And I was like, ‘Look, in our culture, Polynesian culture, we rock lavalavas, we rock skirts.’ The most masculine men, not that I’m one of them, but the most masculine men wear lavalavas and skirts,” he added.
