Daily Show host Desi Lydic recently made a series of jokes revolving around President Donald Trump‘s recent words about passing cognitive tests. The roast came after Trump appeared at the White House Small Business Summit and said he had passed the cognitive test, which included successfully identifying a squirrel.

Daily Show host Desi Lydic recently took a jab at Donald Trump for showing off his cognitive test results at the White House Small Business Summit.
On Friday, Trump spoke about passing the Montreal Cognitive Assessment three times and stated that “Anybody running for President or Vice President should take a cognitive test.” He mentioned that he’s now “taken three.” Trump then added that “No president, think of this, has ever taken one.” He then explained, “The first question is very easy, and they always show the first question. You have a lion, a bear, an alligator, and a, what’s another good..? A squirrel. Which is the squirrel?”
Lydic likened the President’s remarks to “bragging about being the only kid in school who gets a special helper.” She also called his showing off his cognitive skills a “weird flex.” She referred to clips in which Trump is talking about the animals that are being asked about in the test and quipped, “At this point, I’m not even sure there was even a test. I feel like there’s a good chance the president was just watching Zootopia.”
Moreover, Lydic also criticized Trump for speaking about the Iran war and nuclear weapons while being surrounded by children at the Oval Office as he announced the return of the Presidential Fitness Test Award. She joked, “No, they’re not too young. I’m sure they’ve already seen the ‘Paw Patrol’ episode where they drop a ballistic missile on Humdinger.”
