Jeffrey Epstein’s Cellmate’s Attorney Responds to Suicide Note Forgery Claims

The speculation surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged suicide note contnues to make headlines. Online people are suggesting that the note is nothing but a forgery. Many are pointing the finger squarely in the direction of Jeffrey’s cellmate Nicholas Tartaglione.

The note was reportedly left behind in the cell of Jeffrey and Nicholas. The convicted pedophile died while behind bars in 2019. He was awaiting a sex trafficking trial at the time. His death was ruled a suicide by hanging.

Nicholas Tartaglione’s attorney denies their client forged the note

If that suicide note was indeed forged, Nicholas had nothing to do with it. Those are the claims his lawyers are making. Bruce Barket told TMZ that his client “didn’t forge,” the note, adding that “there’s no debate” on that matter. There is plenty of skepticism surrounding that note online, and on shows like The Ingraham Angle.

Many have compared that handwriting to Jeffrey’s previous writing, believing the two don’t match. Attorney Anne P. Mitchell said on X that the purported 2019 letter to fellow pedophile Larry Nassar was phony. Fox News correspondent Kevin Corke spoke about Jeffrey’s alleged suicide note on Laura Ingraham’s show yesterday. He believes the late sex offender did not write it.

The authenticity of that note remains a big mystery, as are the circumstances surrounding Jeffrey’s death. In March, former President Bill Clinton was subject to questioning about his beliefs surrounding the financier’s death. He testified that he didn’t know if Jeffrey killed himself. The Department of Justice has not confirmed whether that suicide note is legitimate or not. Jeffrey did not sign it.

Nicholas is currently behind bars, with the former cop serving a life sentence in federal prison following a conviction for four murders. In a phone interview from prison, he told the New York Times that he found the note in a graphic novel following Jeffrey’s first suicide attempt. Jeffrey has previously accused Nicholas of attacking him while behind bars.
