Southern Charm OG Kathryn Dennis apparently was able to celebrate Mother’s Day with her kids.
Over five years ago, Kathryn lost custody of the two children she shares with fellow SC alum Thomas Ravenel. Amid allegations of drug use and neglect, Thomas obtained custody of daughter Kensington, now 12, and Son Saint Julien, 10.
But all these years later, Kathryn appeared to spend Mother’s Day with her two children. Posting a series of photos on her Instagram Story, she captioned one of the photos, “Happy Mother’s Day!”

Just a few days earlier, Thomas posted a photo of all three of his children on his own Instagram page. In addition to Kensington and Saint, Thomas also shares a son, Jonathan, with his ex-fiancée Heather Mascoe.
Meanwhile, Kathryn’s visitation privileges with her children have been limited in recent years. Her struggles with drugs and alcohol have been well documented in the press. In 2025, she was sentenced to 30 days in jail for a DUI. Furthermore in 2020, Thomas claimed their son Saint has fetal alcohol syndrome “due to Kathryn’s excessive drug and alcohol consumption while he was in utero.”
At one point, Kathryn accused Thomas of “parental alienation,” after refusing to allow her to spend Mother’s Day 2024 with their children. However, Thomas claimed it was Kathryn’s own behavior that resulted in her losing time with the kids.
“Typical [Kathryn] who had every opportunity to see her kids on Mother’s Day but didn’t and then chose to blame it on me,” Thomas wrote on X, formerly Twitter, at the time. “Her delusions and deceits and lies to her own kids never cease to shock me.”
Kathryn was featured in the first eight seasons of Southern Charm. Bravo chose not to renew her contract for Season 9 due to alleged behavioral issues, including being difficult to work with, poor treatment of staff and chronic lateness/no-shows on set.
