Haydel-Mankoo called it an “important milestone.” He said the solo trip showed her “renewed strength” and “her value to the monarchy.” Then, he added, “She is the secret weapon of the Royal Family.”
The report noted that Kate Middleton’s last overseas royal tour was to Boston in December 2022. That trip with Prince William centered on the Earthshot Prize. Meanwhile, her last solo foreign visit was to Copenhagen earlier in 2022. That visit was another fact-finding trip linked to early childhood development. Haydel-Mankoo said the public could now see Catherine as “not just a future queen.” He also called her a “wife, a mother” and a woman carrying “grace and dignity.”
