Stephen Colbert Kisses Pedro Pascal a Day After Smooching Jimmy Fallon

Stephen Colbert shared a kiss with Pedro Pascal, following his playful kiss with earlier guest Jimmy Fallon, who had hopped on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert alongside other popular hosts. During the episode, Pascal expressed his wish to lock lips and hinted at his smooch with past guests with jealousy as the audience cheered him on.

As Pedro Pascal got seated for a conversation with Stephen Colbert, he pointed to his lips, appearing to suggest he wanted to kiss Colbert. The wish was eventually granted, and the duo kissed as the crowd went into a frenzy.

Following the moment, Pascal commented, “I got jealous,” seemingly hinting at Colbert’s earlier gestures of kissing other guests, including Fallon, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Sally Field. Colbert responded, “No need! Anytime. These lips will soon be free.”

The kissing topic emerged during a special episode that saw the major late-night hosts assembling ahead of the Colbert show’s cancellation. While playing a specific game, the group, which included Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, John Oliver, and Seth Meyers, was asked if they had ever kissed a guest on camera.

Fallon quickly pointed out that Colbert asked the question, looking towards him. Colbert replied that he looked at him, as he believed that he might have. “No, I think you just want to make out with me,” Fallon replied. The duo eventually shared a kiss before Fallon said that he didn’t see it coming.

In July 2025, Colbert announced that his Late Show had been canceled. CBS later released a statement to address the cancellation, clarifying that it had nothing to do with performance but was “purely a financial decision.”
