Welcome to the recap for Part 3 of The Valley Season 3 reunion. Last time, Luke made some concerning remarks about his relationship with Kristen. And Danny and Janet finally shared a moment of empathy. Here’s what happened in The Valley Season 3 Episode 21: “Reunion Part 3.”
TW: This recap contains discussion of sexual assault.
What happened in The Valley Season 3 Episode 21?

The group discussed Danny’s behavior at the after-party following Jasmine and Melissa’s nuptials. Plus, Janet opened up about her past sexual assault, and Kristen addressed her shocking reaction.
Danny’s behavior at Jasmine’s wedding was a hot topic

While Danny denied imbibing at Jasmine’s wedding, Brittany shared, “I didn’t see it from my own eyes, but Zack told me that there was a big thing with Danny after the wedding. And that Jesse was going to say something about it.” Both Nia and Danny denied that anything happened during the wedding. However, Schwartz said that the group was referring to “the after party” at the hotel.
Jesse responded that Nia called him, asking him to locate Danny and return him to his room. “And I went down there, and he was like, no shoes and a tank top, watching the game, having a drink,’” Jesse explained. He added that his buddy “wasn’t super receptive” about being brought back to his room.
Lala called the fact that Nia texted Jesse, asking him not to “encourage” Danny to attend the party, “a complete red flag.” Nia insisted that it wasn’t because of Danny’s drinking. She and her husband were planning to spend alone time at the hotel.
Meanwhile, Brittany compared how she used to protect her ex-husband, Jax Taylor, with how Nia treated Danny. “I protected Jax for so long, and, like, it annoys me … whenever I see a girl being like, ‘Oh, everything that he f*cking does is fine,’” Brittany told Nia in an unaired scene from her Halloween party.
At the reunion, Brittany clarified, “I’m not comparing Jax with Danny. There’s no comparison towards that whatsoever.” Well, Jax certainly still looms large in The Valley.
Andy Cohen calls out Danny’s drinking during The Valley Season 3 reunion

Still, Danny admitted that he went into situations with “stress, anxiety heightened” and “used alcohol to cope in those areas.” And this led to him drinking too much.
Host Andy Cohen asked Danny why he continued “to drink on-camera” if it didn’t represent his “character.” Danny responded, “It’s not consistent. These are bad moments that are rare.”
However, Andy refused to accept that response. “But it’s semi-consistent on this show,” he replied. Yet, Danny felt he was being targeted for his alcohol consumption. “Jax said it last reunion. He’s admitted it numerous times,” Danny remarked. He added that Jax “put a target” on him and then “called other people to create this false narrative.”
Lala, who is sober, called out Danny for continuing to “blame other people for your drinking” as well as hiding his drinking. “This is a real f*cking problem. And I’ll be damned if you’re gonna blame Jax Taylor and say that now he’s the problem.”
Next, Andy mentioned a comment that Lala made during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live. Lala remarked that she “hopes that Nia leaves Danny.” That is a big statement.
“If he is verbally talking to you in a way that is not okay behind closed doors,” Lala said, “yes, I would hope that you would go be with someone who babies you and loves you and take your babies and go live a good life.”
The reaction to Lala’s comment was immediate. “F*ck her,” Luke stated, as Danny remarked, “Wow.” And Kristen also felt that Lala went too far.
Then, Nia responded, stating that what Lala glimpsed was not her day-to-day life. “We have a really beautiful special home bubble,” she added. In the end, Lala apologized, acknowledging that all she knew was what she saw on her TV screen.
Janet shares more about her past trauma
During the trip to Puerto Vallarta, Michelle asked Jesse to be thoughtful about his PDA with Lacy. “I asked my husband for so many years to hold my hand and hug me, and he said he was incapable of that,” Michelle said. And Jesse confirmed that he is “more affectionate with Lacy.”
According to Andy, Jesse said, “You said that Michelle needed to toughen the f*ck up regarding your PDA.” However, Lacy didn’t appreciate Jesse’s comments. “You should never talk to her, or me, like that,” Lacy told her boyfriend.
“But he does a lot,” Michelle said softly. However, Jesse denied Michelle’s accusation. Then, Lacy defended Jesse. “What I do know is we’re trying our best to mitigate your emotions,” she said. “I could have apologized,” Jesse remarked, “until Michelle made an underhanded comment that I do it a lot.” He explained that he wants to show affection for Lacy without having to “worry about my ex-wife from almost three years ago being offended.”
In a vulnerable moment, Janet revealed why she opened up to Lala about her history of sexual assault. “Lala is one of my best friends,” Janet said. “And I felt like it was a piece of my story that she was missing and needed to know ….”
She continued, “I was 12 years old when that happened. I’ve had a lot of negative experience with men in my life. I had a dad who was very abusive, who was an addict.” Janet added, “So, there are often situations, not just in this group, where I feel unsafe.” Kudos to Janet for sharing her story.
Did Kristen apologize to Janet during The Valley Season 3 Reunion Part 3?

Andy told Janet how Kristen “was skeptical” about the “timing of your story.” However, Janet’s reaction was surprising. “I actually expected worse,” she said.
Kristen explained her remarks about Janet’s admission. “I had no idea what we were at all talking about, like, whatsoever,” Kristen said. She added that she “never would have said something like that” if she had known about Janet’s past. “You know that it’s happened to me. Of course, I believe you.”
Meanwhile, Jasmine opened up about how Kristen’s empathy for Lala’s triggers upset her. “I was letting my anger for Janet overpower the support that I should have been showing her,” Kristen stated. While Jasmine didn’t feel that race was an issue among the friend group, she added, “It’s something I’ve always had in the back of my mind.”
Moving on, Andy brought up how Kristen called out Jasmine, Zack, and Brittany for their drinking habits. “It was so much worse,” Kristen said of watching the footage back. “I don’t feel that way about any of you.”
“The way you treat them, treat us like that,” Jasmine said, referring to Nia and Danny. “The three of us will never leave you.” Oh, the shade!
After discussing Kristen’s fears that Luke would abandon her, Andy dropped some advice for the couple. “You guys should get back into couples therapy,” he said.
Was Janet wrong to throw water over Danny during The Valley finale?

During Brittany’s Halloween party, Kristen admitted to Nia that she made the guilt-tripping comment about Zack. “Then I said I didn’t,” she said, and she wasn’t sure why.
Next, it was time to discuss how Janet tossed a drink at Danny. According to a show of hands, everyone felt that Janet was in the wrong except for Janet, Michelle, and Jason. However, Janet said, “I wish I didn’t do it, because he was already making a fool of himself.” When Jason mentioned Danny’s comment about his “bum-ass knee,” Andy asked Danny if he was “drunk.”
“Oh yeah,” Danny responded. “I was pretty toasty.”
Finally, Jasmine discussed her wedding to Melissa. “I was honestly the best day of my life,” the newlywed said. And Jasmine and Melissa were planning to grow their family soon. “I need to find a donor,” Jasmine said. “I need to talk to you about sperm,” she said to Jason. Their doctor’s appointments are already lined up.
Well, that’s a wrap on Season 3 of The Valley!
