Vanessa Trump posts about Kai on her birthday
Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. and the mother of Kai Trump, posted a heartfelt message on her daughter’s 19th birthday on May 12, 2026. The 48-year-old seemingly asserted that she would not let boyfriend Tiger Woods‘ DUI hearing distract her from Kai’s birthday.
“Happy Birthday to my firstborn, Kai. I am beyond proud of you and all that you have accomplished,” Vanessa said (via OK Magazine), “Watching you graduate from high school and begin this new chapter into adulthood is one of the most proudest moments of my life.”
She continued, “You have grown into such an amazing woman, smart, strong, kind, and determined. From excelling in school to being an incredible role model for your siblings and everyone around you, you continue to inspire me every single day.”
She also emphasized in the message that the day would be “all about celebrating” the Kai, hinting that she would not let Woods’ case get in the way of Kai’s celebration. As per reports, Wood’s lawyers headed to a Florida court in relation to the ongoing DUI case against the veteran golf legend.
Woods was arrested on March 27, 2026, on Jupiter Island, Florida. The charges were Driving Under the Influence after he clipped a pressure cleaner truck’s trailer while driving his Range Rover. The resulting collision caused his car to roll over on its side. Authorities reportedly found him in an impaired state. Woods also refused to undergo a mandatory urine test at the jail, which triggers an automatic misdemeanor charge. The case is still ongoing.
