The backlash West Wilson is facing could have a positive spin. That’s what Jesse Solomon is hoping for amid the scandal currently surrounding West. Season 10 of the show Summer House aired while a secret romance between West and Amanda Batula was revealed.
While he had a hunch the two were close, Jesse admits that knowing just how close they were caught him off guard. He says that he has had a special connection with West since coming on board. He’s calling on him to do the right thing in the aftermath of this scandal.
The Summer House star wants his friend to “learn and grow”
West made his bed, and now it’s time to lie in it. That appears to be the message Jesse is sending to the Summer House cast member. On Sirius XM’s The Julie Cunningham Show, Jesse got into West’s scandal. Although he was taken aback by West’s revelation, Jesse says that he wants “to be a supportive friend.” Jesse adds that he is “hoping that he (West) can learn and grow from it.”
Last month, news of West and Amanda’s secret prompted some to wonder whether Jesse knew about it. Jesse insisted that he had had no knowledge of this. Even so, many are skeptical that it is true, given how close Jesse and West became.
In the past, Jesse has said that West needs to apologize and address the timeline of his romance with Amanda. West broke up with Ciara Miller in 2023 after several months together. They began dating after the filming of Season 8 of Summer House.
In June of the following year, Ciara said that their split was due in part to West’s hesitation to commit. Jesse became a cast member for Summer House in Season 8. The show is currently in its 10th season, which is set to wrap up on June 9. Frustratingly, the finale appears to include a kiss between Ciara and West. Sigh.
