Eyewitness accounts painted a chaotic, messy picture. However, her representative stated that these claims were overreactions and slammed the media’s antagonistic behavior towards her.

Britney Spears treated followers to a new dance video on Instagram. Wearing a hot pink mini dress with a plunging neckline, embroidery, and sequins, which she paired with a choker and a pair of brown platform heels. In the video, she performed some slow yet sleek dance moves. During this, Spears also slapped her buttocks and touched her blonde, wavy hair.
“Brighter days!!!” the “Criminal” hitmaker captioned her post. It has garnered 111.9k likes at the time of writing.
Britney Spears’ video comes a few days after TMZ alleged that the 44-year-old mother of two acted in a chaotic manner while enjoying a night out with friends at the Blue Dog Tavern restaurant in Sherman Oaks, LA. One source claimed she grabbed a corner table with a man and a woman, raising her voice, screaming, and also barking.
Meanwhile, another claimed she walked by their table with a knife, making patrons afraid. However, others suggested she simply forgot to put it back on her table after taking it.
Yet another shared that she later made a mess under her table, saying, “It looked like a toddler had been there.”
Elsewhere, reputed entertainment journalist Jeff Sneider, who was present, called the chaotic scene created by the songstress “a WILD experience,” on X (formerly Twitter).
However, a representative shot down these accounts. They said that they were “blown out of proportion” in a statement to TMZ. They clarified that the pop star was only “enjoying a quiet dinner” with her bodyguard and assistant, and recounted a tale of her dog barking at the neighbors.
“At no point did she put anyone in danger with a knife. She was cutting her hamburger in half,” they stated. They continued, “This constant attack on everything that she does, and this is exactly what happened 20 years ago when the media tried to depict Britney as a bad person. This is ridiculous, and it needs to stop now.”
