Met Police are asking any victims from a reality show to speak up. This statement comes after some huge allegations surfaced about the British version of Married at First Sight.
Three women claim that they were the victims of inappropriate behavior from their on-screen husbands. Two of those women allege they were raped, while the other made claims of sexual misconduct.
These apparent incidents reportedly took place during filming of the Channel 4 show. The ladies are accusing the production company CPL of failing to do enough to protect them.
The Met Police have not yet “received any criminal reports” after the MAFS UK Panorama episode

Anyone who may have experienced what those three ladies did should go to the Met Police. That’s the message the department is making amid the massive backlash the reality show is receiving.
In a statement received by Sky News, a Met Police Spokesperson said: “We are aware of media reporting relating to allegations of rape and sexual assault.” That followed an explosive documentary on Monday. The statement adds that for now, police “have not received any criminal reports in relation to this matter.”
Police say that they are also making inquiries to the relevant production teams. They are doing this to ensure that anyone they have spoken to understands how to report criminal allegations to the police. They are encouraging “anyone who believes they have been a victim of sexual assault” to come forward.
Shona Manderson was the third of three women making the allegations. She is the only one of the alleged victims named. Shona says that she “completely lost her light” following the show. She alleges her partner on the show, Bradley Skelly, took things too far during sex. He has denied those claims.
This jaw-dropping story was first reported on in Monday’s BBC Panorama documentary episode. The show has aired 10 seasons and has become a staple on UK television. CPL responded to the allegations, stating that its welfare protocols are robust and comprehensive. Meanwhile, the men accused have all denied any wrongdoing.
