Rapper and businesswoman Cardi B is a mother of four, but she refuses to let motherhood change her style. The Grammy-winning songstress wrapped up her Little Miss Drama tour earlier this year. During a recent interview with E! News, she spoke about a variety of topics, ranging from the success of her tour to her fashion.
Cardi B reveals motherhood hasn’t changed her bold style
In her conversation with E! News, Cardi B revealed that motherhood has not changed her bold style, but she has made some adjustments depending on the situation.
“Motherhood has not changed my style, honey,” she said, adding, “They haven’t changed me for s***. Well, I will say though, I’m not going to like go to school with a see-through shirt or like with a shirt [and] my n***les are rock hard.”
Elsewhere in the interview, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper shared that her oldest daughter, Kulture Kiari, also loves fashion. “This girl is always in my closet, girl. Like I’m just about sick of it,” she said. “But she already knows the rules. Like, don’t mess too much with Mommy purses.”
She then playfully added, “Don’t touch my purses too much. My clothes, whatever, … [and] my shoes, whatever. But don’t touch Mommy’s purses because you already wrote on one of them.”
Cardi B shares Kulture, as well as daughter, Wave Set, and son, Blossom Belle, with estranged husband, Offset. She also said that Kulture leaves a mess in her closet while playing with her mother’s clothes and apparel, so she is planning to teach her to clean up after herself.
She said, “Every single time that she goes to my closet, she leaves a mess. Maybe that’s what I’m going to start teaching her.” The rapper added, “Like, if you want to play in my closet, you got to clean. You got to clean it up. And maybe that will teach her how to be more, you know, domestic.”
