Donald Trump trolled over recent comments on Reflecting Pool

President Donald Trump has once again seen a surge of backlash against him after he mistakenly referred to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool as a “reflecting lake.” Moreover, the President, who often leaves netizens stunned with his words, said that he would make the project waterproof.

The concept of making a swimming pool waterproof left netizens stunned as many stepped forward to criticize the President.

“I’m doing a job on the ‘Reflecting Lake’ for a fraction of what they paid… It’s going to be beautiful. It’s going to be waterproof,” Trump said, “It’s going to be reflecting again.” The 79-year-old President was likely referring to the application of an industrial-grade sealer and waterproofing compound.

The compound is reportedly being applied to the floor to patch historic cracks and prevent chronic leaking. The concrete basin is also being painted bright blue, which Trump claims will keep the water pristine.

Users on social media platforms had a gala time trolling the President over these claims.

“So the water in the reflecting lake won’t be wet?” one user wrote on X (via OK Magazine). “A…waterproof reflection lake? Hmmmm…he has the best words because he’s like really, really smart as it pertains to water and reflecting pools, guys…probably the smartest ever in terms of reflecting and in terms of water. Thank you for your attention to this matter,” another user wrote.

Many others also said similar things about Trump’s comments. Meanwhile, the war against Iran also continues, with no imminent end in sight.
