There’s a new Survivor champion after last night’s big finale on CBS. We were down to five people heading into the big finish with $2 million up for grabs. Four of those five contestants had made it to the finale night on a previous season they appeared on, with the only newcomer for Season 50 being Tiffany Ervin.
We witnessed two immunity challenges on Wednesday and a fire duel at the final four between two contestants who’d been there before. It was a night full of drama and redemption as a winner was crowned.
Who was the winner of Survivor Season 50?

Aubry Bracco was the winner of Survivor 50, taking home the $2 million prize.
The mother from Hampton Falls defeated Jonathan Young in an 8-3 vote, with Joe Hunter, the other finalist, receiving none. This marks a long journey to the title for Aubry, who played the middle for much of this season.
In the final five, Jonathan won immunity, which led to Tiffany’s exit by a 4-1 vote. She was supposed to be the vote the previous tribal, but won immunity despite everyone in the tribe helping each other out, as some were unable to spell inconceivable.
Aubry won the last immunity challenge, Simmotion. That classic challenge see’s balls travelling through a spiral rack, and contestants must ensure they don’t fall while holding one hand behind their back.
She wound up putting Rizo Velovic and Jonathan in the fire challenge at tribal council. Both had previously gone out of their respective seasons at that stage. Jonathan wound up winning with Rizo going out on fire in back-to-back seasons. Jonathan lost in the end despite being coached up before by Survivor winner Boston Rob Mariano.
It was a story of redemption for her as she lost in the final of her original season in Survivor 32 to Michele Fitzgerald. She lost in part because her social game wasn’t as strong. She’d made it deep into Game Changers and lost, too, while also appearing on Edge of Extinction.
Survivor is available to stream on Paramount+.
