During her appearance on The Last Show With Stephen Colbert, Aubrey Plaza did not miss the chance to make a joke about her pregnant self. She joined host Stephen Colbert to give him “The Colbert Questionert.” As she settled down into her seat, the 62-year-old host asked her how she was doing. She replied, “Everything is normal here. Nothing weird.”
With a completely straight face, the Agatha All Along star continued, “My water broke backstage. They said it was going to take a couple hours, so I can still do this.” The audience broke into laughter at her humor. Colbert gave her a little smile and said, “That’s very generous of you. We will get a squeegee.”
Then Plaza thanked him before asking which he preferred, cats or dogs. He responded, “Oh. I have lived with both of them.” After a few seconds of contemplation, he concluded, “Dogs.”
The news of The White Lotus star’s pregnancy first broke out in April 2026. Since then, she has made several appearances, including “Late Night with Seth Meyers“. During her conversation with Meyers, she shared the one thing she might need him to do. To Meyers’s surprise, she said, “May need you to pull it out.”
Meyers replied, “What’s that? Do you want me to pull it out?” Plaze continued to joke, “That’s why I came here tonight.” Meyers said, “Oh, I would rather not do that.” The 41-year-old said, “It’s either you or Henry Winkler. Those are my top two.” Winkler is her Parks & Recreation co-star.
