Donald Trump’s appearance upstaged by belly button

During an Oval Office press briefing on Thursday, Donald Trump was upstaged by an unidentified man with a protruding belly button. A screenshot from the session capturing the moment quickly went viral on social media, with netizens spotting the man’s noticeable belly button bulging through the striped shirt he wore.

The video has since sparked a plethora of reactions and comments on social media. One user joked, “The only thing more outrageous than Trump here is the bulging belly button.” Meanwhile, another quipped that the man’s belly button “is going to be archived for decades.”

In the clip, Trump said, “If I didn’t win this election, I don’t think we would’ve been a country any longer.” The statement comes after the president and EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin announced a delay of two Biden-era EPA refrigerant rules that direct businesses in the U.S. to reduce greenhouse gases in cooling equipment.

“Our actions allow businesses to choose the refrigeration systems that work best for them, saving them billions of dollars,” Zeldin said in a statement. “This will be felt directly by American families in lower grocery prices,” he added.

During the Thursday conference, Trump also responded to the Republican Senate majority considering dropping a proposal for $1 billion in security money for the White House ballroom project.

“I don’t need money for the ballroom,” Trump said. “It’s being done in conjunction with the military… and Secret Service. We’re on time, on budget. It’s going beautifully. Have all the money I need,” he added.

Trump took questions on multiple other pressing issues during the press briefing. At one point, the POTUS claimed that American elections “are so rigged” when asked a question about the defeat of his re-election bid.
