Reporter Daniel Bird of the Mirror suspects that the Lee Andrews kidnapping story is not what it seems. Former Celebrity Big Brother star Katie Price’s husband, Lee Andrews, has been missing for eight days. He was reportedly last heard from in an eerie FaceTime call with his wife. In the call, he appeared to be at the Dubai border, involved in some form of conflict with the authorities.

Adding to the controversy, Daniel Bird has stated that he had been in talks with Lee Andrews just weeks before his alleged kidnapping. Bird feels that the story doesn’t add up. He had reportedly reached out to Andrews in January for his side of the story regarding allegations by an ex-girlfriend. According to him, Andrews had asked for money in exchange for the interview, which the journalist refused.
Following a social media faux pas, Andrews reportedly told Bird that he felt it was unfair that his life was under a spotlight. The journalist, however, expressed his skepticism. He questioned why Andrews was complaining when he voluntarily shared details about his life and marriage on social media.
One of Andrews’s exes has also identified a pattern. According to them, Andrews would often shoot a video in an airport, saying he was about to board a plane to meet them. However, he never showed up. This was similar to what happened when he was supposed to join Price on Good Morning Britain, but ghosted her on the Live TV show.
Just days later, Price appeared on social media to inform her followers about her husband’s “kidnapping.” Bird says that he “feels sorry” for Price, whom he says he has been covering from the beginning of his seven-year career.
