Kylie Kelce shared that as she and Jason announced their consecutive pregnancies, the vibe shifted from pure joy to outright judgment. “As we have announced our consecutive pregnancies, I think people are like less like, they’re like, ‘Oh, congratulations.’ By the fourth one, people are like, ‘Congrats. You know, you guys don’t have to touch each other.’ Like that kind of thing.”
It is a rude awakening for any mom trying to celebrate growing her family. Kelce confessed that the invasive comments did not stop there. “Every so often when you say you have four kids, people look at you like, ‘Do you guys know about contraceptive?’”
Beyond dealing with judgmental remarks from strangers, Kelce also got vulnerable about the emotional rollercoaster of watching her kids grow up too fast. She called out a viral TikTok trend where graduating high school seniors place down a childhood toy to complete a lineup, and then walk away in their caps and gowns.
“It’s with tiny little toys that my current kids are the current ages that are appropriate to be playing with this, suggesting that it’ll just be tomorrow when they’re in their cap and gown for their high school graduation… The thought of that makes me want to cry. The idea that [Ellie] won’t always be a stuffy kid also makes me want to cry. Raising kids is a trap.”
Fans will easily remember the famous photo of the Kelce family used to announce their fourth pregnancy. In the Instagram picture, their three oldest daughters wore matching “Big Sister” sweaters.
