The duo, who had continued living together at the royal residence despite being divorced, went their separate ways last year. A report by HELLO! Magazine suggests that the author now wants to distance herself from her ex-husband.
Andrew Lownie, the author of the book, “Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York” shared that the pair were once one against the world. He added that now there is a strain in their relationship. He added that Ferguson may feel Andrew is “toxic” and could “destroy her branding opportunities,” which is why she is allegedly trying to move forward separately.
Meanwhile, Ingrid Seward, editor of Majesty Magazine, told the outlet that Ferguson, 66, no longer holds respect for the former Prince. She said, “He embarrassed her with the way he spoke to people, and I think she lost respect for him. She is very charming and would never speak down to someone she considered her inferior, but Andrew did, and she hated that. He was very unsophisticated.”
The last time they were seen together was during the funeral of Katharine, Duchess of Kent, in September 2025.
