Markle talked about her family’s favorite jam flavors using adorable nicknames for her children.
Meghan Markle refers to her kids using the sweetest nicknames in new As Ever video
The official Instagram page for As Ever posted the titular video on May 24, showing Meghan Markle walking through the brand’s new line of jams — and while doing so, she reveals the sweetest nicknames for her two kids.
Keeping it simple and warm, Markle tells viewers, “Everyone in my family has a different favorite.” Then she starts listing them off, starting with Prince Harry, who she says, “loves the raspberry,” while flashing a smile.
Next, she talks about the kids, with Princess Lilibet — who is about to turn five in June — getting the nickname “Lil,” as the duchess reveals, “Lil loves the strawberry,” also sharing that her seven-year-old Prince Archie, or “Arch” as she calls him, “likes both.” Finally, she says, “And I like the marmalade.”
And that is it — just a mom being aware of the jams her family grabs during breakfast and melting everyone’s hearts with endearing nicknames. As Ever captioned the post with a note about the spreads being “bright and fruit-forward with just a hint of tartness and a whisper of lemon,” but it was Markle’s casual use of “Lil” and “Arch” that got people talking.
As Ever previously released two candles related to the children’s birthdays. Signature Candle No. 506 nods to Archie’s May 6 birthdate, with notes of ginger and neroli meant to evoke warmth, while signature Candle No. 604 honors Lilibet’s June 4 birthday, mixing amber and water lily for a light floral feel. The descriptions read like love letters to Meghan Markle’s kids, and with the new nickname revelation in the As Ever video, fans know this dedication is genuine.
