Katie Price‘s hopes of reuniting with her husband Lee Andrews have been dashed, as he will not be released from Dubai’s Al-Awir prison. This comes after earlier reports suggested he would be freed on Monday after paying a four-figure fine.
Andrews, who married Price after a whirlwind romance, has been missing since May 13, when he was supposedly planning to reunite with his wife.
Katie Price concerned her fans with a questionable post amid her journey to Dubai
In more current news, Andrews has reportedly gotten in touch with his wife, confirming that he has been detained in the Al-Awir prison in Dubai. Though Andrews was thought to be detained for espionage allegations, the reason has now changed to “civil matters”.
In a recent Instagram story by Price, she seems to lament the fact that Andrews will not be released soon. She was reportedly seen at the airport with a huge pink bag, which indicated that she was flying to Dubai to meet Andrews and get some answers.
Price wrote the story poignantly, sharing learnings from what appears to be a major heartbreak. She writes about being a “strong woman” who had had “a heartbreak” and is fighting “a battle she never asked to fight.” She continued the train of thought, saying, ‘She didn’t become strong because it was easy; she became strong because she had no other choice.”
Referring to her recent predicament, she added that “strength is her power. Her resilience is her weapon. Her faith is her anchor. She may carry scars, but those scars shine as proof that she made it through.”
Price had also revealed her immediate plans when she commented on her podcast. Reportedly, she intends to ask Andrews for an “explanation” and said, “There’s so much speculation about you, it’s about time you actually do a sit-down video interview, because I think the public deserves it.”
