It has been a fortnight since Lee Andrews, a self-proclaimed billionaire and Glamour model Katie Price’s husband, disappeared and is allegedly being detained at the Al Awir prison in Dubai over espionage charges.
As the couple’s four-month marriage continues to be overshadowed by controversies, Price has reportedly realized that it may indeed be over.
A source close to Katie shared that during the ongoing Lee Andrews drama, she realized the marriage is done
Katie Price and Lee Andrews were married after a short courting period in January. Andrews went missing after connecting with his wife over an eerie FaceTime call, where he was seen at the Oman-Dubai border with his hands tied. Price and Andrews’s family began to worry about the disappearance, a phase which is broken on May 27, when Price hears from her husband, who says that he is detained at the Al-Awir prison in Dubai on charges of espionage.
On May 30, Price travels to Dubai herself and spends days, making repeated visits to court, police stations, and prison authorities in Dubai. Price posts a message saying how emotionally exhausting and “heartbreaking” this journey has been. In recent updates, she seems to have lost weight from the ordeal and looks “skeletal”. Inside sources report that the “marriage is over”.
Katie has appeared on social media to narrate her frustration. “Life in general is stressed, but I’m good. What I mean is I’m good in everything, but obviously it takes a toll on your body, because my adrenaline’s like…that’s what it is, it’s the adrenaline pumping,” she said.
A body language expert has told Mirror that Price has always been a “trouper”, but even she has limits to her endurance.
As of now, Price seems to battle it out and is trying hard for the release of her husband.
