Candiace Dillard Bassett of The Real Housewives of Potomac shared that she had a rather “dry” encounter with Ciara Miller. She met the Summer House star at the 2026 Las Culturistas Culture Awards. Candiace said she was excited to meet Ciara, although Ciara didn’t seem too thrilled to meet her.

Naturally, thanks to Scamanda, Ciara’s name has been on everybody’s lips. Since the scandal broke, she’s been compared to Ariana Madix, and she’s been quite busy looking at partnerships, guest stars on shows, and even a run on Dancing with the Stars.
Candiace was excited to meet her, but the encounter wasn’t quite like she had hoped. She shared the experience on her podcast with Michael Arceneaux.
“I got to meet Ciara and Mia (Calabrese) on the red carpet, so that was fun,” Candiace said. Her interaction with Ciara was “interesting.” Candiace felt Ciara was very dry.
“I don’t know if she was just not in the mood, or maybe we have beef,” Candiace guessed. “Have I done something to offend her? (Ciara) was very dry with me.” She proceeded to share how she told Ciara she was killing it, and Ciara’s reply was just, “Okay. Yeah.”
Despite it all, Candiace confirmed she was one hundred percent rooting for Ciara to succeed on the heels of Scamanda. She still thought it was nice to see Ciara and confirmed she thought Ciara “looked amazing.”
On the flip side, Cadiace had nothing but praise for Mia, especially for the faces she pulled during the reunion.
“The faces that Mia was making on the couch in the clips I’ve seen of the reunion were hilarious! She’s the friend we all need,” Candiace shared.
