Donald Trump has once again thrown shade at Barack Obama’s presidential library, sharing an AI-generated photo on social media. The president ridiculed the design of his predecessor’s building with his edited picture, comparing the structure to a dumpster.
Donald Trump trashes Barack Obama’s library in new AI post
On Saturday, June 6, the POTUS posted a sneering reimagination of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago on his Truth Social profile, wherein he depicted the building as a glorified trash can.
Donald Trump’s morphed AI photo replaced the uniquely designed structure with a massive dumpster, with a giant garbage bag sitting on top of it. He also removed the green pastures surrounding the library and added tents and homeless encampments in their place. Trump also included a caption with the edited image, which read, “The Barack Hussein Obama Library, in 10 years, when fully matured!”
The Republican Party leader has openly criticized Barack Obama’s presidential library, calling it a “total disaster” and claiming that it was overbudget and delayed. Donald Trump also shared a similar AI photo a few days ago, showcasing the building as a towering version of an actual trash can, with a black garbage bag sitting on top of it.
In response, Valerie Jarrett, who serves as the CEO of the Obama Foundation, invited Trump to the grand opening of the building and asked him to judge the quality of the library by himself. “Judge for yourself,” Jarrett said in an interview with USA Today at a media preview of the center.
The Obama Presidential Center is currently on track to open on June 19, with tickets sold out till the end of August.
Notably, Donald Trump has planned a presidential library of his own and recently shared an AI-generated look at the proposed design of the Miami-based skyscraper.
