Country star Morgan Wallen was seen taking a phone from a security guard’s hand. He then threw it across the stage. This happened during his Still the Problem tour stop on Friday at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh. In a video captured by an audience member, the guard appeared to hold both hands behind her. She was recording Wallen’s performance at the time.

Wallen gestured toward the phone before walking away. He then returned, took the phone from the guard’s hand, and threw it across the stage.

According to TikTok user jcroo419, who shared the video, a fan had given the guard a phone to record Wallen’s performance. “Well, that just happened… Amy gave her phone to the lady to hand to Morgan Wallen and he launched it. I get it… security should be doing security things, but….,” the user wrote.

Wallen’s representatives have not publicly commented on the incident (via Page Six).

Shortly after the incident, Wallen canceled his scheduled show on Saturday. He said the decision was related to weather concerns.

“This morning, my team walked on the bus and told me they had been consulting with local officials and that I should cancel my show in Pittsburgh tonight, and I said, ‘Why?’” he explained in an Instagram Story. “They said that there was going to be strong winds in the area, and I said, ‘OK.’ So, that is what I did in that moment, and I trusted my team.”

He added that the large stage structure could become dangerous in those weather conditions. “I’ve been seeing a lot of nonsense about me that is simply not true, and I just wanted to clear the air,” he added.
