Morgan Wallen had a painful setback during his back-to-back Michigan run. The country star still refused to let the mishap derail his second night at the Big House.
Morgan Wallen performed despite suffering an ankle injury after a fall
Parade reported that Wallen injured himself after the first of his two Michigan Stadium concerts on July 24. Video shared online showed him jumping to high-five fans while leaving through the stadium tunnel before landing awkwardly and appearing to roll his ankle.
Security staff helped Wallen toward the locker room, where he sat on the floor and grabbed his lower leg. Someone nearby asked whether he had hurt his knee or ankle as the singer tried to stand.
Wallen later addressed the Morgan Wallen fall through Instagram Stories. He reposted footage of the incident and wrote, “Michigan, if I appear somewhat hobbled tonight, it’s because I am.” He also shared an image showing his left foot bent at a painful-looking angle.
The singer did not announce a medical diagnosis or provide treatment details. Page Six described the injury as a twisted ankle, but Wallen gave no indication that he planned to cancel the following night’s performance.
Wallen returned to Michigan Stadium on July 25 and completed the second concert despite the injury. The University of Michigan had scheduled the two Still the Problem Tour shows for consecutive nights.

The injury did not appear to interrupt the Morgan Wallen Michigan concert schedule. His tour remains set to conclude with two shows at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on July 31 and August 1. Wallen has not shared a fuller health update. His decision to perform showed that the fall hurt, but it was not enough to keep him offstage.
