Crispin Glover has denied the allegations made by his former girlfriend, identified as Jane Doe, that he held her captive as his “live-in girlfriend/sex slave”. The complaint, filed in February 2026 in the Superior Court of California, alleges that the Back to the Future actor held the woman captive and used her for “sex and free labor.”

According to People, Jane Doe, a UK model, claimed in the filing that she met Crispin Glover on social media in 2015 and that he allegedly made “strange advances” while urging her to move to Los Angeles. She alleges that she was “groomed” by the actor, who made “promises of a new life where she could start over and have a career in the entertainment industry through some sort of business relationship with him.”
But when she relocated to Los Angeles, she claims she found herself in a disturbing situation in which Glover allegedly sought to control her actions and “track her whereabouts and basically serve him as a live-in girlfriend/sex slave,” documents stated, as reported by Fox News. The lawsuit also alleges that the actor made a false police report and a restraining order petition and continued to harass and pursue her sexually.
The actor is now demanding a jury trial and seeking damages, as per Entertainment Weekly. He filed a motion with the Los Angeles County Superior Court on June 3. Supporting his motion to strike, Glover claims that Jane Doe stayed with him in Europe for three nights and in the U.S. for 16 nights, and that tensions arose after she allegedly asked him to say they were married in an Islamic ceremony.
He describes the allegations that he held her captive as “provably false” and describes her lawsuit as a “shakedown.”
A representative of the 61-year-old actor earlier told TMZ, “Mr. Glover denies these baseless allegations in the strongest possible terms.” Adding, “The reality is that on March 2, 2024, Mr. Glover was the victim of an unprovoked felony assault by Jane Doe at his Los Angeles residence. Mr. Glover called the LAPD, which came to the scene, investigated, and arrested Jane Doe. These facts are documented by law enforcement records and by the restraining order filed by Mr. Glover against Jane Doe at that time.”
