Insiders close to the singer told the Daily Mail that they have noticed a “pattern” in her “all-consuming” romantic relationships.
The source also said that Grande’s dating history shows that her tendency to “fall hard and fast” before she gets “swept up” in the next big thing. Currently, that new big thing in her life is the tour. They continued that the songstress finds it “easy” to “move on” from one thing to another.
“The person she’s with gets her full attention, and it’s easy to get swept up in that. But then something shifts. A new project comes along – a movie, a tour – and suddenly, the relationship isn’t the center of her world anymore,” they said.
The source added, “That’s a pattern people around her have seen play out more than once. From what friends say, Ethan would have preferred the relationship continue, but Ariana has always followed her own instincts. When she’s ready to move on, she does.”
Another insider told the outlet that the couple broke up “several months ago.” The split was reportedly “amicable,” and they are still “very supportive of one another.” Grande is currently busy with rehearsals for her shows. The Eternal Sunshine Tour marks her first world tour in years since 2019’s Sweetener Tour. The current tour will support both her Eternal Sunshine album and her upcoming album, “Petal”.
