Prince Harry allegedly had a disagreement with his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, just three months ahead of tying the knot with Meghan Markle. As reported by RadarOnline, royal author Sally Bedell Smith told them that the late Queen felt concerned about the Duke of Sussex and the Duchess of Sussex’s wedding plans, while drawing on discussions with the Queen’s cousin, Lady Elizabeth Anson.
In the meantime, the royal author further said to the news outlet that the late Queen Elizabeth II felt “left out” during the planning period of Harry and Markle’s marriage. Sally Bedell Smith also claimed that the late Queen had a concern that the Duchess of Sussex, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton, were “not working well together.”
Meanwhile, per the news outlet, a source went on to say, “The important thing is that they found a way forward.” The person continued, “Whatever frustrations existed during the planning process, there remained genuine affection between them and a desire to repair any misunderstandings.”
The insider further claimed that Prince Harry “is said to have had a 10-minute meltdown about his wedding arrangements in a tense meeting with his grandmother.” The person continued, “And she does not tolerate those sorts of histrionics well at all.” The insider also added that the late Queen Elizabeth II “sees it as a sign of weakness.” In the meantime, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took their wedding vows on May 19, 2018. The couple shares two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
