Tracy Morgan has hilariously predicted that the Statue of Liberty will get pregnant if the Knicks win the NBA Championship. The comedian, known for his quirky sense of humor, revealed this on NBA Finals All-Access With the Pat McAfee Show. McAfee commented on the frenzy surrounding Knicks games. “What does the city look like afterwards?” he asked.
Tina Fey commented, “I haven’t been out in the streets past 9 [p.m.] in a long time. It seemed like it was crazy after these last games. All these watch parties around the city are really amazing, bringing people together.”
This is when Morgan swooped in and remarked, “I think the Statue of Liberty might get pregnant.” This prompted Fey and McAfee to burst out laughing. The Mean Girls star quipped, “That’s the answer you’re looking for. That’s the one you wanted.”
Fans had interesting reactions to Morgan’s wild comment on the internet. One fan quipped, “Most Tracy Morgan shiii I ever heard.” A second fan commented, “I’m convinced Tina Fey didn’t write any of Tracy Morgan’s Tracy Jordan character on 30 Rock! it was all stream of consciousness for him.”
A third fan joked, “Lmao Tracy Morgan is like why y’all laughing? I’m so serious.” A fourth fan wrote, “This is literally one of the funniest soundbites of all time.” Finally, one fan chimed in, “Tracy Morgan for the win.”
