Lindsay Lohan gave a glimpse of family life with rare father-son photos in a tribute to her husband, Bader Shammas, on his birthday. The couple were first linked in 2020 and got engaged in 2021. They tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2022 and have since maintained a low-profile family life.
Lindsay Lohan celebrates husband’s birthday with rare father-son photos
Lindsay Lohan took to Instagram on June 17 to share a video montage featuring several father-son photos and videos and celebrating her husband’s birthday. The couple welcomed their son, Luai, in 2023 and have mostly kept details about him private. Set to Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros’ song “Home,” the video captured the couple together and the father-son duo having fun.
In the caption, Lohan wrote, “Happy Birthday to my favorite person. You’re an incredible husband, the most loving father, and the kind of friend everyone hopes to have in their life.” She also praised him for “the way you love and care for our family,” adding that the joy he brings to Luai every day means “more than words can ever say.”
“Thank you for the life we’ve built together, for your strength, your loyalty, and for always believing in our future,” the “Freaky Friday” star concluded the caption. “Luai and I are so lucky to have you. I love you endlessly. Happy Birthday.” The video began with a photo of the couple smiling with their heads leaning against each other. Then, it transitioned into a photo of Shammas holding Luai up so he could look through a public telescope or binocular viewfinder.
The next two photos were again of the couple. One snap showed Luai wearing a Spider-Man costume and touching an eagle statue, while his father crouched beside him. Further, a video clip showed the father and son riding matching tricycles. Lohan also included a glimpse of the birthday decorations and ended the video with another picture of the father-son duo.
