Bunnie Xo has finally broken her silence on her marriage struggles after her estranged husband, Jelly Roll, filed for divorce after nearly 10 years of marriage. Talking about the relationship, on Thursday, June 18, in an episode of her “Dumb Blonde” podcast, she detailed the argument that led the former couple to go their separate ways.
“J and I have never really been good at having disagreements,” she said on her show. The host further added that they never “argued” as a couple. As a result, both of them were “holding things in,” which was a “recipe for disaster.”
“We always preach you gotta be comfortable having the uncomfortable conversations, and we did that for eight years in. Then the past year and a half, we kind of got away from that because, we’re in a different life right now,” she explained. Bunny Xo then revealed what led to their divorce. She narrated that they had a “little bit of an argument” on Mother’s Day in May. And during the argument, she “was so fed up and so tired” that she said to Jelly Roll to “file the f***ing divorce papers,” in a fit of anger.
She added that despite parting ways, the duo is looking toward the future and staying “best friends.” The podcaster even revealed that they are “still having a baby” and are going to co-parent together. Jelly Roll reportedly filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo after nearly a decade of marriage on May 18.
